The payload

The scanners go up. The driver stays down.

Barcode scanners, or other data collection devices, mount on the forklift. Up to five can be used for faster scanning.

The driver stays safely on the ground and drives the scanners up to the pallets, watching a live video feed of the scanning process
Using IoT technology like lidar, the system detects if a pallet is missing, how high it is, and automatically selects the correct bin location
